There are positive and negatives to almost anything and the same goes to having the perfect short haircut.

Short haircuts are wonderful.  They are easy to manage and are great when your pressed for time on a daily basis.  Wash and go with little fuss which saves time and energy especially if your someone who is tight for time all the time.  Add a little gel, comb with minimal blow dry time.  Wonderful, easy and sets us free to get on with our day.

Of course there is a negative to having a short haircut.  When you make the decision to get the perfect short haircut you should get your haircut faithfully every 4-5 or 5-6 weeks to keep it shaped so it continues to stay as easy wear.  If you don't mind hitting the salon 4-5 or 5-6 weeks then a short haircut might be for you.

Before you make the decision to cut your hair short take the time to get some ideas of what style you would prefer.  Don't just walk in, view some photos then tell your hairdresser to go for it.  Get a sense of what you want, print the picture out if need to be and discuss it with your hairdresser.  Showing your hairdresser a visual while they offer some suggestions usually helps you choose the perfect style that you desire with easy wear.  Below are photos of short haircuts so you can get an idea of what kind of haircut you desire.
